Favorite Bronzers!

As well as blush, I think that bronzer is equally important. It can warm up your face and also shape it if you contour. I think a good bronzer is a staple item in anyone's makeup collection because it is really hard to find good ones. Some are too orange and some are muddy looking. Here is a list of my favorite bronzers and i'll have have a post soon about contouring! So stay tuned :)

Chanel - Soleil Tan De Chanel- Cream bronzer & Smells like peaches!
Tarte- Park Avenue Princess Bronzer- has slight shimmer
NYC- Sunny - Peachy/brown matte bronzer (and only $3.99!!)
Benefit- Hoola- Darker matte brown bronzer

Go Blonder?

I'm just going to start out by saying, i know i am not blonde! But i use these products to keep my highlights bright and keep them from getting dull and brassy as well as blending my roots. All of these products by John Frieda are very affordable and are found at any drugstore. These are great great great products and keep my hair looking nice and beautiful. :)
  • Let's start off with the John Frieda Go Blonder Spray. This doesn't completely change your hair color but it DOES blend your roots wonderfully. To use, you spray this on your hair when damp and blow it dry. The product works with the heat to change the color of your hair. I usually spray it on my roots and i can go much longer with out getting them touched up!
  • Next is the John Frieda Purple Shampoo. This shampoo is PURPLE. It is used to neutralize the brassiness in blonde hair or highlights. I wouldn't recommend using this everyday because your hair will start to get a purple tint to it. I use this every other day, switching with the next shampoo.
  •  Last but not least is the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Shampoo. Basically this is just a shampoo for blonde hair. Although i don't have blonde hair it does keep my highlights nice and bright.

Dry Shampoo!

With all of the different dry shampoos out there it can be pretty hard to find one that works for you. I have tried the Tresemme Dry Shampoo and hated it! It left my hair looking gray and feeling dirty and weighed down. But recently i picked up a Batiste Dry Shampoo at Ulta and fell in LOVE! I have very oily hair and have to wash it every single day, sometimes twice a day, which isn't good for your hair at all since it strips it of all the natural oils it needs. With this Batiste Dry Shampoo i can go every other day! It saves me so much time in the mornings and i am so glad i found a dry shampoo that works for me. So if you have oily hair like i do, i defiantly recommend trying out this dry shampoo.

To use a dry shampoo, you just pull all of your hair back and spray in the front. Then you do your part, the crown of your head, and any other spots that need it. I usually get underneath and spray the rest of my hair as well. Wait about 2 minutes then brush it out! That simple! :)
